All of the following constitute just a sample of Christian oral law or, that is, a Mishnah equivalent. No Christian has codified it or written it down like NaHasi did for the Mishnah. Therefore this is still only oral law. None is derived from the Bible except by talmudism. Some of it is Gnostic in original. It is considered heretical in all or some of the denominations of Christianity not to confess these. There is, however, nothing biblical in these mental minhags, and no legitimacy to the method that created these gezeirahs. One note: Catholic customs such as praying to Mary and Saints are not included since that is merely an adaptation of pagan Roman religion, and it is not practiced by the high clergy of the church. It is merely tolerated. Moreover, Catholicism is not a religion that develops an oral law since the prelates and popes have direct powers to give orders and institute laws in the name of God. Therefore there is little room for a developing Mishnah. Christianity’s oral laws started developing before Catholicism’s medieval authoritarianism, and continued after the Reformation threw off its authority. Christians deny they have oral law, or are under the impression they do not have it.
