At this crucial time, it is unforgivable for Messianic Judaism, elements of which have been steeped in Christian theology, to pass on a humanized Yeshua. If David called him  Lord in prophecy, than no Jew should call him  brother or Yeshua ( cause that s what his mother called him ) or simply put Hebrew words on Greek concepts. The divine nature of the Messiah is in scripture. Let that be taught, but let it be the actual divinity the prophets proclaimed. That, more than anything, is the <A HREF="../html/the_calling_of_elijah_the_prop.html">call of Elijah</A>, to turn the hearts of the sons to what the fathers once knew and understood, so that the sons can see the wonderful work God is bringing for them in the future.&nbsp; </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Georgia, Palatino, 'Times New Roman', Times, Serif, serif; font-size: x-small;">&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; And this may be a difficult future, made worse by modern <A HREF="../html/apocryphal_apocolypticism.html">Christian apocalypticism</A>. As Jews enter into Messianism they become saturated by  end times evangelical  bible prophecy. The charismatic element of Christianity is drunk on its own modern interpretation, often applying non Jewish or non original meanings to Jewish prophecy in order to make it relevant for today or the  near future. With the loss of the original context,&nbsp; millions of people are anticipating events which simply were not prophesied to happen. This is where modern evangelical bible prophecy is so dangerous. It is almost completely derived from the arena of popular myth and sectarian impression rather than scripture or direct revelation.</SPAN></P> <P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Georgia, Palatino, 'Times New Roman', Times, Serif, serif; font-size: x-small;">&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; For this reason Nabion also holds its name. It studies and warns about <A HREF="../html/apocryphal_apocolypticism.html">Christian Apocalypticism</A> and counters it with actual scriptural exegesis.&nbsp; </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Georgia, Palatino, 'Times New Roman', Times, Serif, serif; font-size: x-small;">&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Jews are indeed entering Messianism. But it takes little study to realize that it is encompassed by powerful church factions that try to dominate it, condemned by other church supersessionist factions that want to obliterate it,&nbsp; denied by Israel which does not understand it, and imitated and twisted by vain thrill seekers. But it must also remember that it, more than all the rampant apocalypticism, is in prophecy, and it has a genuine calling from God. &nbsp; For Messianic Judaism to fulfill its calling, it must come forth cleanly and reestablish the foundation of both religions, which is the scripture the Tanach the words of God, not mixing the traditions and mental habits of both.&nbsp; Above all, pray unto God first for wisdom, and deeply desire to know the truth. As the  House of the Prophets, Nabion can proclaim nothing greater than this. From the mighty God of our fathers comes all truth. It is not a worship outlet. Therefore it does not teach Judaism. It takes much of it for granted.&nbsp; Thus there is no intent to prove Jewishness. It is more concerned about giving the <A HREF="../html/the_calling_of_elijah_the_prop.html">call of Elijah</A> to our brothers than a culture call to the Nations. Many such sites claim to be Messianic Jewish. Far too frequently, they are congregational websites, billboards of  synagogues often named Beth or Beit something or other, usually Beth Sofa Arrangement in the  rabbi s living room. But the&nbsp; language of the sites and the entire theology reveals they are anything but Jewish.&nbsp; They are thinly disguised Baptist or Assembly of God (Pentecostal) institutions. Closely related, we see many independent  Messianic Congregations where former Assembly of God and Baptists become Torah observant, maintaining Jewish rules and rituals but in entire cultural and religious&nbsp; outlook are simply Pentecostals wrapped in a tallit. They have found new truth in  Yeshua HaMashiach by remaining Christians with a thin Jewish patina. &nbsp;  Hebrew Roots,  Jewish Roots are dead giveaways. </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Georgia, Palatino, 'Times New Roman', Times, Serif, serif; font-size: x-small;">&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Now, we are not condemning them. By no means is desiring to observe or study the Torah, Talmud and sages to be condemned. It is simply that Messianic Jewish or Messianic is a poor choice of words, and an inaccurate one. &nbsp; It makes many confuse these organizations and fellowships with being Jewish in substance and body. Indeed, we ve discovered that  Messianic can mean most any Christian doing some Jewish things. This should not be surprising, since Messianic basically is an Anglicized Hebraic that means  of the Messiah and Christian is an Anglicized Hellenic meaning  of the Messiah. That basically sums it up; this  movement is a name change and nothing else. </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Georgia, Palatino, 'Times New Roman', Times, Serif, serif; font-size: x-small;">&nbsp;&nbsp; However rewarding this experience may be to its members, it is actually quite offensive to genuine Jews, and even considered quite suspicious. On occasion the State of Israel has even banned immigration of such people, and was probably correct to do so. With them comes a strange  end times Pentecostalism,  gifts of the spirit, and that syrupy Baptist  Hurrah for Israel,  We support Israel. Their mindset is almost an adulation of the concept of Israel rather than a worship of God. Messianic Judaism or Nazarene Judaism is growing in number and gaining higher profile (with some good websites). These are actual Jews Hebrews many of whom are remaining in and around traditional Jewish synagogues. Some have even formed genuine synagogues in which the rabbis are actually rabbinically trained. It would be disastrous for the two to be confused. When  Messianic Judaism is mentioned on this site, it is this latter connotation the true prophetic movement which is meant.&nbsp; </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Georgia, Palatino, 'Times New Roman', Times, Serif, serif; font-size: x-small;">&nbsp;&nbsp; This being clarified, Nabion must reiterate plainly that it nevertheless has no association with any denomination or sect, Jewish, Messianic&nbsp; or otherwise. It is not the outlet of a congregation or synagogue.&nbsp; It is completely independent and devoted to the religious reformation of the House of Israel the Hebrews. Why? Because these are our own people. Neither the love of God s great name, or our love for our own extended family, can allow one to bear seeing its members be destroyed by secularism and unbelief.&nbsp; Nor can it tolerate the gospel being reduced to the preaching of Western culture. We are merely Jews speaking to Jews on scripture and prophecy.&nbsp; Like the conundrum of Messianic Judaism and its imitators, non-Jews (and even Jews!) may find that Scriptural prophecy of the Messiah is not like its Hellenistic imitators.&nbsp; They teach us of the long-awaited and, yes, divine Messiah who was proclaimed to come to redeem us. </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Georgia, Palatino, 'Times New Roman', Times, Serif, serif; font-size: x-small;">&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Messianic Judaism or Nazarene Judaism should be a movement to worship God as he has fully revealed himself. Nabion s purpose therefore is to teach and preach this, the true Messiah. &nbsp; It does not preach Jewishness, since that is not its purpose.&nbsp; The thin patina of Hebrew on such  Messianic sites is actually insulting to intelligent people who are interested in substance over spin. Yeshua or Jesus, we know who that is. Nabion does teach of him, but it is from scripture the law and the prophets and this gives us the substance Israel has been waiting to see, not the Hellenized concepts that have so repulsed Jewry. It is declared properly in the name of the LORD; exposes and corrects doctrinal and behavioral error, reveals God s attitude toward events, proclaims what is to transpire, and it bears witness to the Torah and Prophets.&nbsp; Nabion therefore does not condone or have any connection whatsoever with Pentecostalism. For this reason the <A HREF="../html/book_of_ben_kathryn.html">Book of ben Kathryn</A> is on this site and studied and compared with scripture and referenced with events in this volatile world. Genuine Jewish prophecy has no parallels in the nations, and the words of this prophecy also have no parallel with the evangelical bible groups getting  tongues and gibberish.
