Legal Method or Exegesis
Nabion does not recognize any fraction of the Pharisaic Method, Jewish or Christian. No laws may be extracted by exegesis or interpretation. Laws are directly commanded by God, or are derived by him giving a Situational Precedence in Scripture or by extrapolation of a command given as an intentional Base Minimum.
Situational Precedence: David and his companions eating the shewbread and not being punished for it by God. Direct prophetic statements from God by the mouth of the prophets clearly declare the position of mercy as superior to the strictures of ceremony and ritual.
Base Minimum
Exodus 23:4-6 “If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again. If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him. Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.”
The extrapolation is obvious for other matters— if you are to help your enemy with his donkey, how much more are you to be merciful to him if his son is lying under a burden or in a bad way?
No Gezeirah or Minhag shall be treated as binding in and of itself, whether Jewish or Gentile.
