   Jochanan ben Kathryn

             Nabion

Although a Jewish site, the word of the LORD is for everyone. God speaks through a true prophet in order to prepare his people for events to come and to turn them from their sinful ways when they have gone astray. Please read these introductory pages so that you understand the context of actual prophecy.

Prophecies

Shemoneh Esreh (Amidah)

Since Nazarene is not contained in the 12th of the “18 Benedictions,” it is encouraged that Nazarenes remain in the synagogue unless asked to leave. Reform is coming from the LORD, and there is simply no way to stop it. The Nazarene community cannot become separated from mainstream Jewry. The ancientness of the Benedictions is obvious in that a Redeemer was still sought as a promise to come, as well as is the restoration of the Davidic Monarchy, although most Jews now don’t know what they need redeeming from if the law and customs are sufficient. Except amongst the storytellers of our people, no one is even sure who is from the Davidic heritage. Some Hasids think that Rabbi Menachem Shneerson is a candidate for the Messiah, a Rebbe whose life reflects nothing Messianic according to scripture. (See Messianic Prophecies) He was neither a redeemer, a prince, nor was he cut off for the sake of the people according to the prophecy of Daniel. And, of course, he was not born in Bethlehem. Micah 5:2— “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Some Hasids even pray to him! Just what are Jews reading anymore! “This people praises me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” (See Chronological Anchors)  No Rebbe was from “everlasting.”

No prayer uttered from compulsion, habit or custom and form is acceptable to God. Rather, it is to be spoken from the heart, meaning it.

 1.

Blessed art thou, O LORD our God and God of our
fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, the
great, mighty and revered God, the Most High God who bestoweth
lovingkindnesses, the creator of all things, who remembereth the good deeds
of the patriarchs and in love will bring a redeemer to their children’s
children for his Name’s sake. O king, helper, savior and shield.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, the shield of Abraham.

2.

Thou, O LORD, art mighty forever, thou revivest the dead, thou hast the power to save.
Thou sustainest the living with lovingkindness, thou revivest the dead with great
mercy, thou supportest the falling, healest the sick, settest free the bound and keepest
faith with those who sleep in the dust. Who is like unto thee, O doer of mighty
acts? Who resembleth thee, a king who puteth to death and restoreth to life,
and causeth salvation to flourish? And thou art certain to revive the dead.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who reviveth the dead.

3. (Congregational)

[Reader] We will sanctify thy name in this world just as it is sanctified in the highest heavens, as it is written by thy prophet: “And they call out to one another and say:
Cong.] ‘Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.’ ”
[Reader] Those facing them praise God saying:
[Cong.] “Blessed be the Presence of the LORD in his place.”
[Reader] And in thy Holy Words it is written, saying,
[Cong.] “The LORD reigneth forever, thy God, O Zion, throughout all generations. Hallelujah.”
[Reader] Throughout all generations we will declare thy greatness, and to all eternity we will proclaim thy holiness. Thy praise, O our God, shall never depart from our mouth, for thou art a great and holy God and King. Blessed art thou, O LORD, the holy God. Thou art holy, and thy name is holy, and holy beings praise thee daily. (Selah, Pause.) Blessed art thou, O LORD, the holy God.

4.

Thou favorest men with knowledge, and teachest mortals understanding.
O favor us with the knowledge,
the understanding and the insight that cometh from thee.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, the gracious giver of knowledge.

5.

Bring us back, O our Father, to thine instruction;
draw us near, O our King, to thy service;
and cause us to return to thee in perfect repentance.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who delighteth in repentance.

6.

Forgive us, O our Father, for we have sinned;
pardon us, O our King, for we have transgressed; for thou pardonest and forgivest.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who is merciful and always ready to forgive.

7.

Look upon our affliction and plead our cause,
and redeem us speedily for thy name’s sake,
for thou art a mighty redeemer.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, the redeemer of Israel.

8.

Heal us, O LORD, and we will be healed;
save us and we will be saved, for thou art our praise.
O grant a perfect healing to all our ailments,
for thou, almighty King, art a faithful and merciful healer.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, the healer of the sick of his people Israel.

9.

Bless this year for us, O LORD our God,
together with all the varieties of its produce, for our welfare.
Bestow a blessing upon the face of the earth.
O satisfy us with thy goodness, and bless our year
like the best of years.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who blesseth the years.

10.

Sound the great horn for our freedom,
raise the ensign to gather our exiles,
and gather us from the four corners of the earth.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who gathereth the dispersed of his people Israel.

11.

Restore our judges as in former times,
and our counselors as at the beginning; and remove from us sorrow and
sighing. Reign over us, thou alone, O LORD, with lovingkindness and
compassion, and clear us in judgment. Blessed art thou, O LORD, the King
who loveth righteousness and justice.

12.

Let there be no hope for slanderers,
and let all wickedness perish in an instant.
May all thine enemies quickly be cut down,
and may thou soon in our day uproot, crush, cast down
and humble the dominion of arrogance.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who smasheth enemies and humbleth the arrogant.

13.

May thy compassion be stirred, O LORD our God,
towards the righteous, the pious, the elders of thy people
the house of Israel, the remnant of their scholars, towards proselytes,
and towards us also. Grant a good reward to all who truly trust in thy
name. Set our lot with them forever so that we may never be put to shame,
for we have put our trust in thee.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, the support and stay of the righteous.

14.

Return in mercy to Jerusalem thy city, and dwell in it as thou hast promised.
Rebuild it soon in our day as an eternal structure,
and quickly set up in it the throne of David.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who rebuildeth Jerusalem.

15.

Speedily cause the offspring of thy servant David to flourish,
and let him be exalted by thy saving power,
for we wait all day long for thy salvation.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who causeth salvation to flourish.

16.

Hear our voice, O LORD our God; spare us and have pity on us.
Accept our prayer in mercy and with favor,
for thou art a God who heareth prayers and supplications.
O our King, do not turn us away from thy presence empty-handed,
for thou hearest the prayers of thy people Israel with compassion.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who heareth prayer.

17.

Be pleased, O LORD our God, with thy people Israel and with their prayers.
Restore the service to the inner sanctuary of thy Temple,
and receive in love and with favor both the fire-offerings of Israel and their prayers.
May the worship of thy people Israel always be acceptable to thee.
And let our eyes behold thy return in mercy to Zion.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who restoreth his divine presence to Zion.

18.

We give thanks unto thee that thou art the LORD our God
and the God of our fathers forever and ever.
Through every generation thou hast been the rock of our lives, the shield
of our salvation. We will give thee thanks and declare thy praise for our
lives that are committed into thine hands, for our souls that are entrusted
to thee, for thy miracles that are daily with us, and for thy wonders and
thy benefits that are with us at all times, evening, morning and noon.
O beneficent one, thy mercies never fail; O merciful one,
thy lovingkindnesses never cease. We have always put our hope in thee.
For all these acts may thy name be blessed and exalted continually,
O our King, forever and ever. Let every living thing give thanks to thee and
praise thy name in truth, O God, our salvation and our help. (Selah, Pause.)
Blessed art thou, O LORD, whose Name is the Beneficent One,
and to whom it is fitting to give thanks.

19.

Grant peace, welfare, blessing, grace, lovingkindness and mercy unto us
and to all Israel thy people. Bless us, O our Father, one and
all, with the light of thy countenance; for by the light of thy
countenance thou hast given us, O LORD our God, a Torah of life,
lovingkindness and salvation, blessing, mercy, life and peace.
May it please thee to bless thy people Israel at all times
and in every hour with thy peace.
Blessed art thou, O LORD, who blesseth his people Israel with peace.
